Your browsing here will introduce you to one of the most modern, dynamic and internationally renowned Departments of Psychology in Greece. Studying at the Department, which meets the highest international academic standards, leads to a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
With its multi-level, dynamically evolving academic profile, the international collaborations of its members, its research labs, and the organisation of numerous scientific events, the Department of Psychology of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens aims to promote scientific thinking and methodological regour, while maintaining strong connections with the community and stakehodlers.
In addition to a versatile programme of studies and opportunities provided by international mobility programmes, undergraduate students of the Department of Psychology gain valuable experience through their practicum in various placements; optionally, they can conduct their own research, so that upon completion of their studies they have aquired an optimal level of theoretical, research, and professional skills.
The Department of Psychology offers three cutting-edge Postgraduate Programmes in Clinical Psychology, Cyberpsychology, and School Psychology. Moreover, it contributes to two Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programmes of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, namely Basic & Applied Cognitive Science and Health, Promotion & Education. Furthermore, it offers a full cycle of doctoral studies and postdoctoral research opportunities.
It is our intention to continue providing broad as well as in-depth knowledge in Psychology, with a strong commitment to constantly improving our expertise and services in line with the international academic environment, laying a solid foundation for the next generation of psychologists.
